Following the restoration of The King's Guitar Car, Dezerland Park planned a promotional campaign surrounding its public unveiling. I led the campaign's visual design, creating a coheive look across event materials, icluding creating the design for tickets, lanyards, menus, and other prmotional graphics. I was also the photographer for our unveiling day and influencer event.

Elvis was at the height of his popularity during the mid-to-late 1950s. Through my research, I found that the era's design trends featured bold colors, geometric shapes, minimal layouts, and photography combined with illustrations. I used these elements to guide the campaign's visual direction and to develop a look that felt energetic and nostalgic without being tacky.
Drawing inspiration directly from the Guitar car, I chose a bright pink as the campaign's primary color. Bold supporting colors (teal, blue, and yellow) complemented the pink and reinforced the energy of the campaign. Paper and grunge textures helped to create a vintage, tactile quality, while strong geometric shapes served as visual anchors for key information.

I applied the campaign's visual direction across a range of event materials. Consistency between the colors, textures, and geometric elements helped each piece feel connected while allowing the designs to adapt to different formats and informational needs.
