DDS Media Campaign

This is social media campaign I did while working at the ActOne Group that was meant to promote a paid internship opportunity with the California Department of Developmental Services. Working with our healthcare staffing company, the campaign aimed to reach potential applicants and connect them with support throughout the application process. I volunteered to lead the visual design, collaborating with the rest of the marketing team to develop the campaign within a highly compressed timeline.

The Challenge

The marketing team was brought into this project only days before the client deadline. This left us with a highly compressed timeline for developing the campaign. I also had to work within DDS's strict brand guidelines and a limited selection of approved photography, some of which were not available in a usable resolution. These constraints required us to quickly locate higher-quality assets and create a polished, cohesive campaign within only a few days.

The Approach

Working with another designer, we sourced the images from DDS on Shutterstock. I used the photographs as full-background visuals and paired them with large typography. Using the copy provided by the content team, I emphasized key words and phrases that communicated the opportunity's sense of purpose and fullfillment.
